The March to War

1939's Nazi Germany is known by many to be one of the most evil empires know to mankind. Many Germans who had faith in the empire soon found out that with every great ruler there's a dark vicious side to him. Over a course of 12 years Adolf Hitler Germany's so called greatest ruler was able to occupy much of Europe and nearly took over Russia. Hitler knew that if he wanted to continue his expansion he shall acquire soldiers that are willing to sacrifice everything for their Reich. And he in doing so he sought to deceive the German people with false statements of becoming the best country in the world and becoming the leading superpower in the entire world. But throughout Hitler's reign of 12 years what many saw as a bright young man soon turned into some kind of monster. For one Hitler youth soldier named Alfons Heck he shall soon learn that your only a pawn in war.

In 1933 Adolf Hitler was elected chancellor of Germany and his speeches spoke of a brighter Germany, one that shall be renewed from the ashes of the old Germany. Alfons Heck was just a young boy who lived outside the city of Frankfurt. Energetic, patriotic and easily manipulative Alfons like most Germans had faith in his Führer. But it wasn't until World War II progressing that many would realize that trusting their Führer was a mistake they shouldn't have done before or in the first place. But by 1945 many realized it was too late to save themselves and finally as the Third Reich was burning down to the ground millions of Germans fell with it. As the Reich finally finished burning the western allies circled over the ashes and picked off whatever targets were left. Post World War II called for major cleanup and many Germans questioned how would they rebuild without a leader. But that was after 1945. For now Alfons knew that he was proud to serve Hitler and bring victory to the Reich. At age 9 he was enlisted by the Hitler youth because he wanted to no matter how much his parents pled with him not to join. As the war progressed he soon realized how desperate the Reich was getting to stay alive and so by age 15 Alfons was made a Bahnfuher the equivalent to a Major General in today's ranks. At the same time while Alfons was dealing with major troubles Helen was a Jewish woman who fled Germany due to the hatred being expelled by the Reich. While in hiding to continue her life in Amsterdam she was captured and sent to Auschwitz one of the most brutal concentration camps known in World War II. While she spent her time there. She watched pile upon pile of corpses of her own kind dying and she knew that she may not make it out of there alive. But fate ran another course and when the western allies reached her she was free.
War is the worst thing ever invented for mankind. For the people who lived in the 1940s war had to be paid in the millions of the death tolls of innocent men and women who were all deceived by a man who had a very severe dark side and many realized you can't always think that everything is true.
